Katrina Fiscella is from Tallahassee, Florida. She received her B.A. in Music with minors in English and Political Philosophy from Florida State University in 2010, where her principal instrument was violin. Ms. Fiscella graduated from Vermont Law School in 2013 with a J.D. and Master of Environmental Law and Policy. During law school, she worked as an intern at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Office of General Counsel, and spent a semester clerking for Judge William K. Sessions in the United States District Court for the District of Vermont. Before joining the firm, Ms. Fiscella served as a law clerk for Judges Jack W. Berryhill and Todd L. Vriesman in the Colorado District Court, 1st Judicial District, and worked as an associate attorney at a small insurance defense firm in Greenwood Village. Ms. Fiscella has appeared as counsel in Colorado state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and was selected as a 2018 Rising Star by Super Lawyers. As an associate at Carlson, Hammond & Paddock, she practices across the firm’s specialties in water rights, water quality, real property, and related litigation, including the establishment, protection, and modification of water rights.
