Matthew L. Navarrette

Matthew L. Navarrette was born and raised in southern California. He is a 2017 graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles with B.A. degrees in Anthropology and Political Science. He received his law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2022, where he served as a student clinician at the Advanced Aoki Water Justice Clinic and as a member of the Journal of International Law and Policy. While at law school, he was also the recipient of the Reynoso Academic Achievement Award for Contract Drafting and Development. Prior to joining the firm, Matthew served as a law clerk for the Honorable Christopher C. Zenisek in the Colorado District Court, 1st Judicial District. As an associate at Carlson, Hammond & Paddock, LLC, Matthew practices in water rights, water quality, real property, and related litigation.
