Sarah Wiedemann is from Cleveland, Ohio and received her B.A. in English with a minor in Environmental Issues from Colorado College in 2009. She graduated summa cum laude from Vermont Law School in 2013, where she served as a student clinician at the VLS Land Use Clinic and as a research associate for the VLS Water and Justice Program. Prior to joining the firm, Sarah practiced natural resources and environmental law, as well as complex commercial litigation, at a regional firm in Denver. She has also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Jerry N. Jones of the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Honorable Michael A. Martinez, Chief Judge of Colorado’s Second Judicial District. As an associate at Carlson, Hammond & Paddock, LLC, Sarah practices across the firm’s specialties in water rights, water quality, real property, and related litigation, including the establishment, protection, and modification of water rights.
