Mason Brown is from Denver and received his B.A. in International Relations from the University of San Diego in 2008. He is a 2012 graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where, in addition to receiving a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law, he gained experience by clerking with Western Resource Advocates, the Honorable Charles M. Pratt of the Colorado District Court, 18th Judicial District, and the Colorado Attorney General’s Office. Mr. Brown also worked as a student attorney in the Environmental Law Clinic where he argued in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. At Carlson, Hammond and Paddock, LLC, his practice focuses on the areas of water resources, water quality, real property, administrative law, and related litigation. Mr. Brown represents clients in judicial and administrative proceedings and transactions concerning the establishment, protection, and modification of both surface water and groundwater rights.
